Alternative healing has been practised for centuries in various cultures and traditions, but it has recently gained popularity as a holistic approach to overall wellness. This rise is due to several factors, including:
Increasing Awareness of Holistic Health: People are becoming more mindful of the interconnectedness of mental, physical, and spiritual well-being and are seeking holistic approaches to health and wellness. We can draw a clearer connection between our environment, and mental and physical health and start implementing changes to improve areas where we feel stuck.
Limitations of Conventional Medicine: While conventional medicine is essential for treating acute illnesses and injuries, it often falls short in addressing chronic conditions and overall wellness. Alternative healing offers a complementary approach that addresses the whole person. Energy healing in Bali and Egypt was so impactful in my healing journey and allowed me to release my trauma and heal depression. I to this day still believe that medication and cognitive therapy would take much longer to deliver the same result.

Learning how your lifestyle choices are affecting your holistic health and making necessary changes will bring forth so much progress in your healing journey. Once I cut out alcohol I was able to understand how other substances including dairy and gluten were affecting my system as it provided me with a better clarity on how things feel in my body. Anything that creates negative feelings of any nature is safe to say is not good for you.

I make a green juice daily and have tea ceremonies in the evening to wind down. I have learned what herbs compliment what my body needs and I simply give it, supports how my body feels daily.

Diets don’t work but its important to learn what food groups and nutrition supports your body and eliminate what doesn’t. Taking gluten out of my diet made such a huge impact on how my body looks and feels.
